Millions of consumers are now searching for earth friendly natural products that will improve the health of their homes. When choosing an earth friendly and natural product, it is important to read the ingredient label.

Recycling is the process of taking a product at the end of its useful life and using all or part of it to make another product. Each arrow represents a different part of the recycling process, from collection to re-manufacture to resale.

But what does all this have to do with you? Well, recycling is a simple way that you, as a consumer, can help out the environment, create a profitable market for recycled goods and help preserve natural resources from being depleted. So...let's get involved! Steps to begin Recycling here...

    Walts Wise Words:

    by Walt Ingvolstad

Recommendation: I highly recommend using organic vegetables when available due to the high toxicity of pesticides, herbicides and insecticides which creates toxicity throughout your body, organs and cells. Studies have shown that organic vegetables have 40% to 300% more vitamins, minerals and other valuable nutrients than non-organic. The recipe's below will serve 2-4 people.

    Rainbow Salad

Ingredients: Green Cabbage, Red Cabbage (Purple), carrots, celery, Jicama. Leafy Greens such as Romaine, Leaf Lettuce, Kale are optional. I like this one without the leafy greens.

Optional: Add sliced red pepper for the red color. Top off with sprouts. Sprinkle with seeds. Add avocado for its wonderful fat content.

Directions: Shred and mix approximately 1 cup each of the white cabbage or Chinese Cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, Jicam a, and ½ to 1 cup red peppers are optional. Serve on a bed of leafy greens or use as a Stuffing for a “Green Burrito” with large lettuce leafs such as Romaine.

Dressing: Mix Bragg Liquid Aminos, Bragg Apple Cider, Blue Agave Syrup, Himalayan Salt, Olive Oil and either Flax Seed oil or Eudos Blended Oil together to taste and pour over your salad.
