Is It Safe To Use Salt Water In My Hot Tub?

Is It Safe To Use Salt Water In My Hot Tub?

Absolutely, swimming pool owners have been enjoying this technology for years infact, in 2004, 50% of all new pool & spa construction included a chlorine generation system. Swimming pool equipment manufacturers recognize this trend and honor equipment guarantees when using salt water technology. Most major
manufacturers have their own pool chlorine generation systems. Proper water
balance will keep your hot tub in good shape. Not only that but many swimming pools using liquid chlorine will have a higher salt level in the water in just 1-2 years than what is needed to make ColorChlor work.

Can I Use ColorChlor With Ozone or UV?

Yes you can. A properly working ozone or UV system is very complimentary to chlorine generation in spas and hot tubs. It lowers the demand for chlorine in the water and will increase the life of the electrolytic  cell.

Can I Use ColorChlor With Bromine?

No, it is not recommended that you use ColorChlor with bromine as it will damage the plates.

Can I Use ColorChlor With Mineral Cartridges?

Yes,  mineral cartridges need an oxidizing agent such as chlorine to keep the water clear. You would just keep a lower chlorine residual per mineral cartridge instructions.

Is There a Guarantee?

Absolutely! There is a simple 2 year warranty and If you are not satisfied with the first 30 days of purchase, simply contact us, we will issue you an RMA# and promptly refund your entire purchase price upon receipt of your ColorChlor. Of course we would like an opportunity to resolve any issues you may have but regardless, we will refund your money.
