Isabella Samovsky founded Solay Wellness when she was just 29-years-old, after falling in love with a Salt crystal lamp. As she tells it, she was instantly drawn to the lamps striking beauty and energy, as well as its strong health benefits. But, Isabella didn’t stop there. After doing research, she learned how beneficial natural salt is and about it’s many uses, as well as how it can be used to help people look and feel better. This prompted her to create Solay Wellness dba www.natural-salt-lamps.com in 2004 and to eventually launch her own top-selling product lines including Solay simple, Solay gourmet, Solay smile, Solay 84 minerals and more.

Our Intentions

Isabella’s motivation came from a deep concern for the health and well being of the environment and all that inhabit it: “My intention is to become a brand that is known for its true therapeutic values, products with heart and soul that provide real benefit to the customer.“ The best consumption for the planet is to limit our buying, really focus on what we just need, reduce and recycle as much as possible. That is why we focus on providing products that are needed for better health and well-being and package them in earth friendly packaging that is recyclable and reusable. Our products are not mass marketed and are made by hand in small batches by small companies in the USA and around the world. We also donate a percentage of profits to non profit organizations and have set up a non profit center on our website that will allow our customers to help us make the world a better place for all.

“The creation process starts with me, as I need a product, I start to think about its development and since I’m not an excessive consumer, I really think about the impact and consider, do I really need this? If I do, then instead of purchasing something that may or may not be good, I develop it, because then I know it will be great.” We also work only with other manufacturers that have the same intentions, crafting well made, exceptional quality products with environmental integrity.

Mass production has resulted in chemicals and toxins that have invaded every part of our lives. Consumers are feeling the effects of this growing mass production society. Disease such as cancer, neurological conditions, respiratory diseases and the stress on our bodies both internally and externally are on the rise. Competition for cheaper products has led to wages being paid in developing countries that amount to slave labor. As well, mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. More consumers are looking for ways to improve their health and well being. Solay Wellness was created to counter and reduce the negative consequences of this rapidly growing chemical life by creating products with real benefits, helping customers experience better health everyday.
