“If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one.” Mother Theresa
Every month, we donate money, products and gift certificates to numerous non - profit organizations that are doing their part to help animals and the environment. We are so grateful that we can give back to those in need and every purchase you make helps us give back to so many. Thank you so much for your support and the organizations below thank you as well. These are just a small portion of organizations we help with your support.
Ark R.A.I.N. Wildlife Sanctuary Inc.
(ARWS) is a non-profit, 501-c-3 public charity. The Sanctuary is a "safe haven" that takes in animals for various reasons that are in need of special care and a loving place to reside the rest of their lives. For some animals ARWS is the last resort before euthanasia. We are currently home to around 60 species of rare, unusual, threatened or endangered animals, reptiles and birds from 6 continents. More than 160 creatures in all!
The creatures and the volunteer staff at ARWS thank you in advance for your donations.

.
To help save rare, threatened and endangered species and the environment by increasing public awareness with outreach programs presented by Mobile Ark, the education department of Ark R.A.I.N. Wildlife Sanctuary.
Ark R.A.I.N. Wildlife Sanctuary Inc. is not state or federally funded. The Sanctuary is a public animal charity that is supported by education programs and donations from individuals that care about animals. Won't you please consider making a donation today to help an animal in need?
ARWS is in need of financial help to continue our mission. Each rescued animal has special needs that are provided at the sanctuary such as; medical care, unique habitats to live in, high quality food and lots of love. All but the love cost money. The love comes from the hearts of the sanctuary volunteers. The other three come from your love.
If you would like to share your generosity and love for these wonderful creatures by sponsoring an animal through our adopt-an-animal program or if you would just like to make a 100% tax deductible donation, click the link below to help.
PETA
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.
PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.
PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.http://www.peta.org
Report cruelty to animals. If an animal is in imminent danger, please contact your local police department immediately. If your local police department is unresponsive, call PETA immediately—day or night—at 757-622-7382 and dial 2.
Animal Acres
Lorri Houston is founder of Animal Acres. Here she enjoys a 'critter cuddle' with Jamie.
Animal Acres was founded by Lorri Houston, who is considered the "pioneer" of the farmed animal sanctuary movement. In 1986, Lorri co-founded Farm Sanctuary, which opened the country's first sanctuary for farmed animals. For 18 years, she directed the group's rescue and fundraising efforts.
Through her farm animal sanctuary efforts, Lorri has directly saved thousands of animals from the cruelties of factory farms, stockyards and slaughterhouses, and brought national attention to the plight of animals used for "food production." Lorri's work has been featured in hundreds of newspaper, television and radio news stories, including guest appearances on CBS This Morning, Animal Planet, and PrimeTime Live.
The sanctuary is a refuge for animals, and a sanctuary for the soul. Farmed animal sanctuaries are a place where cows, pigs, and chickens reach out and touch the human heart. The "animal ambassadors" gently teach people to extend compassion to ALL beings through one-on-one interaction. For many people, it is the first time they have ever looked into the eyes of pig or chicken, and it can profoundly affect the way people view and treat farmed animals.

Our Vision
To create a greater awareness of the intrinsic value of all life.
Our Mission
To create a No-Kill Philadelphia
We want a sustainable, self-contained organizational model to achieve No-Kill status in Philadelphia that can then be exported to other cities for the same goal. The new model is driven by a citizens’ mandate.
About No-Kill
The most widely accepted definition of No-Kill is a community where all healthy and treatable animals are saved.
Major components of a No-Kill community include pet retention programs, adoption programs, trap-neuter-return programs, and large-scale, low-cost spay/neuter programs.
Several major cities have made great strides towards No-Kill. We would like to build off their success but with the additional component of a citizens group at the helm.
Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia is comprised of taxpayers and pet lovers who are committed to saving all healthy and treatable companion animals in Philadelphia shelters. Using political advocacy, grassroots efforts and humane education, CNKP works with our elected officials, other non-profit groups and the public to raise awareness about creating No-Kill model that will save the lives of the 10,000+ cats, dogs and small animals that die each year in Philadelphia shelters because of overpopulation.
Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 2009.

Evanston Illinois Animal Shelter
C.A.R.E. is the Community Animal Rescue Effort, a 501c3 not-for-profit all volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of domestic pets through public education and active involvement with the unwanted and abandoned animals brought to the Evanston Animal Shelter.
During weekday evenings and on weekends, the 100+ C.A.R.E. volunteers assume responsibility for total care of all Shelter animals.
The East Maui Animal Refuge (EMAR) is a no-kill, all volunteer run, and non profit, rehabilitation sanctuary for injured and orphaned animals that would otherwise die. EMAR began in 1977 as a unique therapy program for Suzie Schwab, who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her husband Sylvan noticed that caring for an injured bird gave Suzie the strength to fight her illness, and he began bringing home more animals in need of her tender loving care. Miraculously, the love Suzie showered upon the animals has contributed to her complete recovery from cancer! Her therapy program has developed into a unique rehabilitation center, with 300-400 animals being cared for at any given time. As all the animals have come to EMAR with injuries or "boo boos" of one type or another, the Refuge has come to be known as the "Boo Boo Zoo".

Since 1988, Trees for the Future has helped thousands of communities in Central America, Africa, and Asia improve their livelihoods and their environment by planting nearly 50 million trees. We calculate that these trees remove approximately one million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere each year.
We are also active locally, educating students and communities about global issues, our role in the environment, and energy efficiency.
