Solay Wellness Non Profit Support Center

Solay Wellness (www.natural-salt-lamps.com) donates money and products to many non profit organizations around the world working to rehabilitate and save animals, offset carbon emissions by planting trees and many others.  Here are some of our non profits that really need our support.

*Boo Boo Zoo

The East Maui Animal Refuge (EMAR) is a no-kill, all volunteer run, and non profit, rehabilitation sanctuary for injured and orphaned animals that would otherwise die. EMAR began in 1977 as a unique therapy program for Suzie Schwab, who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her husband Sylvan noticed that caring for an injured bird gave Suzie the strength to fight her illness, and he began bringing home more animals in need of her tender loving care. Miraculously, the love Suzie showered upon the animals has contributed to her complete recovery from cancer! Her therapy program has developed into a unique rehabilitation center, with 300-400 animals being cared for at any given time. As all the animals have come to EMAR with injuries or "boo boos" of one type or another, the Refuge has come to be known as the "Boo Boo Zoo".

* $1 from every purchase of our Solay Pets Natural Dog shampoo gets donated to boo boo zoo along with our monthly donation.

The Spruce Cove Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

Founded on November 1, 1999, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. Although the central mission of the Spruce Cove Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is to rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned wildlife, the means to this end almost always focus on a bigger picture that involves both public and community support. The essential mission of the Spruce Cove Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is to promote an appreciation for wildlife and wildlife conservation. We do this by providing a place for residents and businesses along the South Shore of Nova Scotia to observe programs that assist in the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife.

Since 1988, Trees for the Future has helped thousands of communities in Central America, Africa, and Asia improve their livelihoods and their environment by planting nearly 50 million trees. We calculate that these trees remove approximately one million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere each year.

We are also active locally, educating students and communities about global issues, our role in the environment, and energy efficiency.
